✨ DAY 3 • Why This Matters

I don’t want families to only have pictures from Christmas cards or the first day of school.

I want them to have the in-between, too.

The missing teeth.
The shy smiles.
The wild hair.
The scraped knees.
The season where they were obsessed with baseball, princess dresses, dinosaurs, books, bows, or being “too cool” to smile.

Because those are the things you think you’ll remember forever…

until time starts moving too fast.

That’s the heart behind what I’m creating.

Something simple for parents.
Something meaningful for families.
Something that helps preserve the whole year — not just one holiday.

Sometimes I catch myself looking at old pictures and wondering…

Where did the time go?

One day you’re packing their first backpack.

The next, they’re asking if they can walk into school without you.

One day you’re tying their shoes.

The next, they’re borrowing yours.

Childhood doesn’t send a warning before it changes.

It happens in the little moments—the missing teeth, the first day jitters, the growth spurts, the scraped knees, the sports seasons, the hugs that somehow get shorter every year.

As a photographer, I’ve realized something…

We’re not just taking pictures.

We’re preserving chapters of a story that will never be written the same way again.

That’s why what I’m working on means so much to me.

It’s not another mini session.

It’s something designed to help families remember the moments that slip by far too quickly.

A lot of people have asked me what RIC means…

RIC = Raised In Chaos.

RIC Media was created as the umbrella for branding, marketing, content, headshots, business photography, and creative media.

But the heart behind the name has always been real life — the busy schedules, the sports seasons, the messy car rides, the loud moments, the milestones, and all the beautiful chaos we wish we could freeze for a little longer.

So I’m so excited to officially introduce the next branch of RIC Media:

This side will focus on families, kids, couples, seniors, sports, milestones, lifestyle sessions, and holiday minis.

To kick things off, I’m officially opening booking for Mini Sessions from now through Christmas.
