In your 30s, you’re going to feel the urge to buy yourself a horse.

Listen to it.

I bought my dream horse, Star, a 15 year old Tennessee Walker trail horse 4 years ago, and it’s been one of the best decision I’ve ever made.

I started riding at 10 and even when life pulled me away, horses never left me.

This week my girl turns 19. In these 4 years, she’s softened me. She’s allowed my soul to settle.

Horses are mirrors. When you look into their eyes, they have a way of sensing the unseen, emotion, energy shifts in the air and channel what we feel. Often times, they help us work through whatever ails us, whatever we’re overcoming. They are the constant, silent listener on a trail ride, steady and unwavering.

Every so often, I have the privilege of photographing events beyond horses and motor and those are often the moments that surprise me the most. Photography has a way of revealing beauty in unexpected places, and these images are a gentle reminder of that magic ✨

All you have to decide is what to do with the life you are given.

Lately, I’ve been focusing on living more authentically—being present in the moment rather than always behind the camera. Between moto media, my career, and all my creative pursuits, I’ve spent years with a phone or gadget in hand.

But recently, I’ve traded my camera for reins. Any free time I have now goes to being with my horse—soaking in the quiet, the connection, and the reminder that while we’re here for a long time, our animals are only here for a short while.

Motocross isn’t just about the bike—it’s about the community. The people who show up not only for the wins but for the moments that shake us to our core.

Like with horses, every time we swing a leg over, we accept the risk because our passion runs deeper than fear. We don’t often talk about the hard parts—but they’re real, and always there.

This past weekend at Round 14 of Supercross in New Jersey, our friend and fellow racer suffered a life-altering crash that left him paralyzed from the belly button down. He was rushed to Hackensack Meridian Health, where he underwent emergency spinal surgery.

Jerry sustained fractures to the T5 and T6 vertebrae, spinal cord trauma, several non-displaced rib fractures, and chronic rib damage. Surgeons fused his spine from T3–T9, relieved pressure, and successfully straightened his spinal cord—a major win on a long road to recovery.

Jerry is living proof that passion doesn’t quit. A true privateer, he poured everything into chasing his dream. His wife, Jennifer ( —an incredible wedding, lifestyle & brand photographer behind —has been by his side since the moment it happened, showing unwavering strength and meeting this journey with courage & love.

Whether we’re building a business from the ground up, chasing our equestrian dreams, or lining up at the gate—this is what passion looks like. Jerry and Jennifer are part of that same fabric. It’s not always easy, but we do it because it’s who we are.

The best kind of love? The kind that grows wild and free. 🌼💍

: The central california weather gave us a little bit of everything — chilly winds, cloudy skies, and a glimmer of hope for golden hour. Leaving work, I wasn’t sure what we’d get, but as we wound our way down to Shell Creek, we were greeted by a valley blanketed in petite yellow wildflowers. ✨

Payton + Levi embraced the crisp air, the golden light finally peeked through, and love took center stage. This area continues to surprise me with its beauty, and capturing their love in such a setting was nothing short of magic.
