Busy, busy days these have been =) Moon River Ranch weddings, Senior class pics, Dental offices... I think I have recently worked more commercial jobs than portrait! Who knew life could get so interesting when you decide to slow down!! That's perfectly fine by this gal - I'm lovin' it!!

I learned today through another photographer about The Olivia Act. A challenge set by one photographer to others in memory of Olivia Engel, one of the 20 sweet angels that left this world too soon at Sandy Hook Elementary. Olivia had her pictures taken shortly before this tragedy, and those precious portraits must be cherished more than we could ever hope to know. Her photographer had decided to offer a free 30 min session to someone who may not have otherwise had a session.

So, through the rest of this year I ask you to send me the name of a family you would like to nominate for a Free 30 min Session and CD with images. It seems so small, something so little in the middle of something so big that has happened to these families, a community, and within this nation. But if I can take this challenge, and challenge my photographer friends to do the same, maybe we can all make a small difference in lives of families across this nation.

Weather permitting I'd like to complete this challenge within the 1st few weeks of the new year, so please, send me your nominations through December 31, 2012.
