Then and now - many people are familiar with the spring version of jack-in-the-pulpit. Did you know that it becomes a cluster of berries in late summer? I found several of them in the undisturbed parts of Izaak Walton Wetlands trail. Woodland animals and birds eat the fruit, but it is toxic to humans.
