I had the most beautiful, the most fun shoot with Elena and her boyfriend Mike last night at Chimney Bluffs on the shore of Lake Ontario. The temperature was perfect, the light was golden and epic, the love was tangible and real and the water felt restorative. There was nothing more you could have asked for. It was a perfect summer evening. Take me to the beach, I'd love more shoots like this one!

I grew up in Rochester yet somehow I had never been to Tinker Nature Park until I photographed Michael and Lisa there last night. It’s a beautiful location and the weather yesterday evening was perfect. I had so much fun walking through the park making photographs of them

On Saturday, August 1, I had the honor and privilege of photographing the wedding of Madison and Amia with their friends and family at Rochester’s Lamberton Conservatory in Highland Park. Madison and Amia came all the way from Cleveland, Ohio to be wed in New York, a place that is welcoming of the love of all human beings and that’s a beautiful thing. It makes me proud to be a New Yorker. The day was hot and sticky but it was a wonderful and sweet wedding nonetheless. I love weddings that make me feel all the good feelings and this was one of them. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to document this day for Madison and Amia.

Every wedding is special in its own way because every couple's love is special in its own way. The traditional Tamil Hindu wedding ceremony of Janitri and Praveen was unlike anything I had ever been to. It was on a Wednesday, it began around 9 am and it was beautiful. It was intimate, cozy and sweet and I can confidently say that everyone present will remember it forever. Here are a handful of images from the day.
