When I do take clients which is not that often anymore, I would take all the maternity clients! A friend reached out to me last year to take her maternity photos and I was honored to do it.

I met Steve when I worked at the YMCA. He always had a joke coming in for his personal training sessions with a fellow trainer and was so charismatic. We met before I would be told my son Noah also had Down Syndrome. Fast forward to this photo event at Gigis playhouse. I saw him and recognized him but couldn’t put it together right away until he started joking around. I am thankful our worlds collided again. From the sound of it he had made ripples all over the Rockford area. Imagine, the impact that he made in his life. His full life his parents gave him knowing the many abilities he had without assuming he couldn’t. I aspire to be the same kind of parent and raise Noah to have a life like his. He will be missed in the community.
