My Monthly Book Goals

What goals do I have for this month? One thing I want to do is sign up for more ARC reads. I also want to be able to read more than just one book in a month. So I'm going to break down my own goals that I am setting for myself. Read at least 3 books - I want to hit my yearly goal this year, and I know that I am already at 14 of my goal. I want to surpass my goal. Write a book review for every book - I feel like writing a book review for every book will also help me get back into writing more on here....

Cold Sweat – Book Review

This past weekend, I read a short story called Cold Sweat by Vera Valentine. This was only 9 chapters long, and when I say that it was a quick read, I was able to read this while going to a family member's house. My thoughts: When I first received this book, I didn't know what to expect. I read the back, which was what caught my attention, as it is not your typical book. This is a taboo step-brother/step-sister trope but with a twist... I will be completely honest with you: it did take a couple of chapters to get going, but once I did, I didn't want to put it down....

Yesterday, I got the opportunity to take senior pictures for Trinity. I have seen this young lady grow up since I have known her. It was also good to be able to give back to families for photos to have that experience.
