UPDATE: Mr. Perez has been located and is currently incarcerated at the Bernalillo County MDC and is no longer considered "Missing". Thank you everyone who has shared information or contacted us on trying to find Mr. Perez.
CORRECTION: We were contacted by the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office informing us that they made contact with Mr. Perez shortly before the "Missing Report" was done. The contact was not a traffic stop, but a welfare check on a broken-down vehicle. The vehicle was towed by BCSO and Mr. Perez was released from the scene.
UPDATE: Mr. Perez was pulled over by Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office shortly before the "Missing Report" was done. He is still considered missing at this time.

The Artesia Police Department is actively searching for a 19‑year‑old Benjamin Perez, who was last seen on July 6, 2026, at around the 300 block of N. 14th St walking, wearing shorts, brown shirt and no shoes
