Okay, I have to say… I’m really loving these couples sessions.

There’s just something about photographing two people who are completely comfortable being themselves together. The laughs, the little looks, the in-between moments—it’s the good stuff.

So, I’m opening up a few Spotlight Sessions for couples this fall.

Sometimes you have to step away from an edit and come back to it.

That was definitely me with this one. I was working on this couples image and just wasn’t getting the look I had in my head. So, I saved it, stepped away, came back to it later, and started making adjustments.

And I think I finally got there.

Editing is such a huge part of the creative process. Sometimes it’s knowing when to stop pushing an image and give yourself a fresh set of eyes.

Now I’m curious… would you be interested in seeing how I edited this image from start to finish?

Well… the last two days have been a little rough.

I’ve basically been walking around like a zombie, so whatever is making its way through the schools, the county, and apparently the entire state… I’m officially ready for it to leave. 😂

I’ve gotten a little behind on posting, editing, and just life in general because sometimes you have to admit defeat, crawl into bed, and let your body do its thing.

THE PROBLEM? TIME DOES NOT STOP.

The emails still come in. The galleries still need editing. The laundry still exists. And somehow, the to-do list seems to multiply while you’re sleeping.

So, I’m back to the land of the living… somewhat.

I’m catching up, getting things moving again, and taking it one thing at a time.

If I owe you a message or you’re waiting on something from me, thank you for your patience. I’m getting there!
