It’s been 4 months since my last post. So much has transpired. Most importantly I’ve been reminded that each day is a blessing. Minimizing your worries is a huge asset. And don’t stress on the things you cant control. Tell those you love that you love them and be grateful.

Three weeks 10k steps before 10 am. Whew! Keepin’ it real, some days have been rough. I promised myself 3 weeks ago I would make my health a priority and some days I want to say “awe forget about it” but I’m finding that the tough days are the days I feel the most reward when I show up for myself.

What an amazing day today! I got to capture a family I’ve been photographing for years. My dear friend and I got emotional the moment we said hello this morning, as we hadn’t seen each other in two years. The kids had grown so much. I’ve learned over the years that the honor of capturing a family is more than just an honor, it’s one of the highest honors. And I truly love every moment. At one point my friends said “ well, Penny, they truly feel comfortable around you” and I said “it’s truly the best and I wouldn’t have it any other way” … every moment is amazing. Live life to the fullest, enjoy those you are with. Be present, laugh, enjoy it. I’m so very thankful. I love you Wheeler family.
