The fact that I’m now a maternity photographer makes these approximately 100x funnier. 😂

A little context: a friend and I were both going to school for photography at the time and apparently decided we were experienced enough to do my maternity photos ourselves. 😂

Yes, there were multiple tree poses. Yes, I chose the scarf. And yes, I genuinely thought we nailed it.
It was 2013, okay?! 😅

All jokes aside, I’m still so glad I have photos from this season of my life. And maybe these are part of the reason I care so much about maternity photography now. Your maternity photos should make you feel beautiful, and choosing a photographer who knows how to pose you, work with light, and make you feel comfortable really does make all the difference.

Simple, sweet, and all about baby. 🤍

That’s always my goal with newborn sessions. I want your images to feel soft and timeless, with all the focus on your brand new little love and all those tiny details you never want to forget.

These were photographed at a beautiful studio I use in Roseville, but I also offer in-home newborn sessions if staying cozy at home feels more like you.

If you’re currently in your second trimester, now is the perfect time to reach out! I offer Belly Through Baby packages so we can capture both your maternity and newborn sessions.

I also offer maternity gowns, styling assistance for the whole family, and some of my favorite hair and makeup referrals to make planning everything a little easier.

Wrapping up this fun session today and I seriously cannot believe I’ve been photographing him since he was FIVE. 🥹 And now we have his senior session coming up! I’m still a little shocked at how quickly these kids grow up.

A little scheduling PSA for my Class of 2027 families: October is officially FULL. I have just a couple of dates left in September and November, and I’m already booking senior sessions into April of next year.

If you have a senior this year, please don’t wait to get on my calendar! 🤍

A little senior session update because my calendar is already starting to fill farther into the year than you might think! 🤍

I’ve officially started booking senior sessions into April 2027, and October is now completely booked and closed.

I still have a few dates available in November + December for anyone hoping to squeeze in a session before the end of the year.

And one fun little bonus… I’ll be in Tahoe on September 26th and have room for one more session while I’m there! Since I’ll already be in Tahoe, I’ll be waiving my usual travel fee for that date. The weather should still be beautiful, and it would be such a gorgeous time for senior, family, maternity, or couples photos. 🏔️
