We've talked about rebranding for years- since before Ethan and I started working together full time in June of 2015. It wasn't until earlier this year when we moved into our first home that the name and vision for our brand really started to come together. Now, the time has finally come and we're so excited to share this new chapter of our business with you! To our friends and family who have shared in our excitement and supported us, to all of our incredible clients who have trusted us and brought us to where we are, and to Jesus for graciously allowing us to steward this business and live this abundant and beautiful life...our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude are yours. Welcome to our Half Acre House!

Our new website is still forthcoming (November 17th!), but our IG account is now live and will be the new home for our collective work! I'll still post work here on my personal account occasionally, but will be the place to catch all the action and beauty. And I'll be honest...anything good you see within this rebrand is entirely Ethan. He's actually my hero. We've got so much more for you to see! Thanks for joining us on this new venture!

Blurry and soft and basically nothing in focus. Just the way I like it. Waiting to post the full story from Lauren + Paul's orchard wedding until I can post it on our NEW website that'll be live in a few weeks! The wait is almost over for "phase one" of our rebrand (we felt phases were necessary, ha!). Our new name and logo will be revealed this Thursday at 5 pm along with our new IG account! It's all getting so real over here 🙈

All good things take time. So many years of dreaming, tiny baby steps forward, giant steps sideways and backward, more dreaming and planning, and now we're here. You may have seen the news from my husband's post a few days ago (that guy is always one step ahead of me 😏), but if not, here's the dish...WE'RE REBRANDING! We've got a new name (!!!), a new website to share with you in the coming weeks, and in addition to our photography we'll now be offering design and branding services and podcast production! The road has been a long one, but fortunately I've got the very best of company in . We're so excited to show you what we've been working on!

Nothing but gratitude and adoration for the man beside me in this little Polaroid. Our season is slowly coming to a close (4 weddings left!) and it feels like our best season yet. There's a LOT to learn when you're running a business with your spouse/best friend. Whew. People advise against it. It can get messy and weird and difficult to find an appropriate work/life balance. Sometimes that stuff happens. Sometimes we work well into the evening hours 5 nights a week. Sometimes we say "screw it" to our schedules and drive up to the cabin for a few days. We're an introvert & an extrovert. A thinker & a feeler. We differ in our work styles and our definition of structure. We're both strategic and emotional. We're both artistry and business. We still have lots of learning and growing left ahead of us, but whatever we do, we do it together. Brave faces. Unoffended hearts (trying). Buckets and buckets of grace. Every day we are so overwhelmingly grateful that we get to do this. Together. Coffee in the morning. Business meetings on the couch. Weddings on the weekends. All of it, together. We've got some new happenings on the horizon, and we're so crazy excited to share it with you. SOON! (ps: sorry if we were supposed to leave this Polaroid behind at your wedding for your guest book ! We couldn't resist!)

Sometimes the light is just too good. One of those weddings where it's nearly impossible to cull down the number of images...I'm not mad about it.

Delivered Hannah + Johnny's wedding this week and was actually bummed to be finished with it. I'd happily go back and re-shoot this day over and over again! They've got a love like nobody else I've seen.
