Built in 1796 by General David Bradford in St. Francisville, Louisiana, The Myrtles Plantation is a historic, formerly 400-acre, indigo and cotton plantation often cited as one of America's most haunted homes. Originally named "Laurel Grove," the 22-room Creole-style mansion, now a bed and breakfast, is famous for the "Chloe" poisoning legend, Civil War history, and reported paranormal activity.
