I don’t usually post on Saturdays, but I’ve been a little quiet around here lately and this one felt too sweet to keep sitting in my camera roll. 🤍

There’s something about those first days with a new baby everyone wanting to be just a little closer. Tiny kisses, curious siblings, and a brand new little person right in the middle of it all.

The sweetest way to end a family session 🍦

After a session full of playing, exploring and documenting all the little personalities that make this family them, we ended with one very important thing: ice cream.

And honestly, this is two years old in a nutshell. Ice cream dripping everywhere, zero concern for the mess, and completely committed to the experience.

I love adding simple touches like this to sessions. Something your kids genuinely enjoy, something that brings out their personality, and something that turns into a memory all on its own.

Because family photos can be beautiful without feeling overly posed or complicated. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the ones that make a gallery feel the most personal.

This is your reminder that family photos can be fun and actually feel like *your family.*

For the second half of this session, we made our way down to the water and let the kids play. There was no pressure to stand perfectly or smile at the camera. They got to explore the beach while I documented them exactly as they are in this season.

Your kids don’t need to be perfectly behaved for beautiful photos. Let them play. Let them be themselves. I’ll meet your family where you are and document the moments as they happen.

There’s something extra special about welcoming a new baby when there are already three little people waiting to love them. 🤍

Four tiny personalities, a little bit of beautiful chaos, and so much love packed into one frame. These are the photographs that only become more meaningful with time, the way big brother held the baby, the way sisters squeezed in close, and what life looked like in those first fleeting weeks as a family of six.

Mom had mentioned before their session that she especially loves photos of babies awake, so when he looked right at my camera and gave me the sweetest little smile, I knew that one was going to be a favorite. 🥹 Swipe through to see it!

It’s so easy to focus on everything you didn’t get done or the moments you wish you had handled differently. But I hope you also notice all the ways you showed up today: the hugs, the meals, the comfort, the patience, the love.

Motherhood isn’t about getting it perfect. It’s about showing up, again and again, for the little people who love you most. And I have a feeling you’re doing a much better job than you give yourself credit for. 🤍

A little glimpse into the sweetest sunrise session 🤍

I absolutely adore this family and feel so lucky to have been photographing them since big sister was still in mama’s belly. Watching their family grow through the years and getting to document each new season will never stop being special to me.

Early mornings, soft light, sandy toes, and a family I’ve loved having in front of my camera for years. The kind of session that reminds me just how special this job really is. 🤍

It’s hard to believe how quickly that first year flies by. One minute they’re tiny enough to fit in your arms, and the next they’re digging into their very first birthday cake with the biggest smile on their face.

Cake smash sessions are about so much more than the cake—they’re a chance to celebrate this incredible milestone and preserve the little details you’ll never get back.
