I’m Sara Kate ✨ a family and couples photographer based in the Golden Isles, photographing St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island + the surrounding coast.

fell in love with photography starting at a young age. I’ve always loved seeing the world through a lens. I used to spend hours in my room taking photos and videos in my room alone as a kid (music videos and dances included). Preserving life’s most precious moments is what makes this job so fulfilling for me. This has never and will probably never feel like a job to me. Pinch me!!

My kids are everything to me and my drive behind my business. They are 3 and 4 (almost 5) and are such a joy. We call ourselves the “team” and are always on adventures. I love seeing life through their eyes 🫶🏻

Hi! I figured it was time for a little reintroduction 🐚 I’m Sara Kate, the face behind the camera!

I moved to the Golden Isles about two years ago, but our roots here run deep. Fun fact: my kids are the 9th generation of our family to call this place home!

Photography was always a dream of mine, and about a year and a half ago, I finally decided to go for it. Turns out, it’s never too late to chase the thing you’ve always wanted. :)

Whether I’m capturing your family, a special milestone, your vacation to the Golden Isles, or simply a season of life you never want to forget, I truly never take it lightly that you trust me with your memories.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is connecting with your kids, letting them be themselves, and making the whole experience feel fun instead of forced. The in-between moments are usually the ones I love most.

I’m so grateful to get to do what I love in a place that means so much to me and I can’t wait to capture more of your stories here. 🤍
