Hi friends, I wanted to apologize to everyone for any delays in call backs, messages, text response, album delivery and sneak peeks. This spring has been my busiest season Iāve had.
Once all senior sessions are complete, I will have photographed 42 seniors just since the end of March, thatās not counting all the family, birthday and couples sessions as well. I am so thankful for this and each and every one of you.
Last night I received a very harsh message from someone that had been scheduled but was rescheduled because of a situation out of my control and then rescheduled again and weather prevented that appointment. But due to a communication error that I owned, the session will not happen. But in this conversation I was belittled and my business was put down. Not to mention the appointment request was received two weeks before graduation and I scheduled even though I was already booked.
In my 27 years of being a photographer, I have never been spoken down to like I was in this conversation and working at the portrait studio at Sears we had quite a few angry customers but none talked to anyone of us like this. When did we become a society of such nastiness?
Response time is within 48 hours, if I miss that time, I always apologize and attempt to make things right. As many of you know, I also work a full time job and also have a family to care for. I wish my photography was my full time job so I could devote so much more time.
As photographers we cannot control, change or predict the weather⦠shoot letās be honest, the weatherman canāt even predict it anymore.
I love and enjoy what I do and one person can make you second guess it all.
With all of this being said, I want to say thank you to all of those that have understood the delays, the rescheduling, and the continued support. I appreciate every single one of you and look forward to working with current and new clients.
