Welcome to Pine Street Studios, a motion picture and video production company created by Sean Doughty and Shane Fitzgerald. When we started, we were just two high school juniors who loved producing videos, but what began as a simple desire to make good school presentations became a dream to share our ideas and entertain. Some BTS of our most recent “Half-oween” short, Mortal Coiling. This was a fun shoot to do, taking just a couple hours. We spent some time planning out the four different shots required on a different day, and then went out to record late last year.
You’ll see in one of the clips a can of atmosphere we planned on using to create some volumetric lighting, but we never got around to making it work (and we kept opening the shed door and letting it out. Whoops). Maybe next time…🌲🛣️🎥

As promised, we just realeased our BRAND NEW VIDEO, the 2️⃣nd part of our short film series finale, exactly half a year since Halloween 2025… we’ve been working hard to get this next installment out in time(?), and here it is: MORTAL COILING 〰️〰️〰️〰️

Hey folks, is it still spooky season…? 😬
We know, we know… we’re working on wrapping up part 2 of our Halloween series finale, but while you wait, here are some BTS shots of the rig we used for one of our favorite sequences in part 1, the “sad guy montage.”
This is pretty close to our usual run-and-gun rig, with one important change… if you look close, you can spot it. But before you ask, NO, we did not draw directly on our lovely monitor (how could you even SUGGEST)

YES, we’re still alive. YES, we’re still working on part 2 of our Halloween finale film (… what month is it again???)
To be honest, it’s been a bit of a slog just churning through hours of video editing, but that’s part of the gig, right? It’s coming out well, and we know you’ll enjoy it (when you eventually see it)
