Turns out the same focus that makes Dominic a great volleyball player makes him a great subject too. 📸

I don't always say this but some sessions are just easy. Dominic walked in locked in and we had a blast. The energy was there from the jump and these photos show it.

Years of hard work, late nights and early mornings. And then one day you put on the hood. 🎓

I had the honor of photographing the Roanoke College MBA hooding ceremony and it was a room full of people who earned every single moment of it. Milestones like this deserve to be documented well.

Chip and Simba knew exactly what this day meant. 🐾

Cathryn and Hailey graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and these portraits at Virginia Tech were the perfect way to mark the moment. Two best friends, their dogs and a milestone worth celebrating.

Sometimes the best sessions are the ones you don't plan for. 🤍

A few weeks ago, my friend Marshall asked me to capture the moment he proposed to Ingrid at Cascades Falls. What he didn't know is that I was actually Ingrid's RA back in the day, so getting to be there for this felt extra special.

The look on her face when she turned around. That's the whole reason I do this. 💍

So happy for you both. What a way to start forever.

What an incredible morning at Wasena Park last Saturday! 🧠💙 I had the honor of volunteering my time and photography skills at LewisGale's Joggin' for Your Noggin with Rock Haven, a 5K and honorary walk along the Roanoke River Greenway supporting Brain Injury Solutions and the survivors they serve.

It was the perfect way to wrap up National Volunteer Week. Giving back with your craft is one of the most rewarding things you can do and this community showed up in a big way.

All proceeds go toward FREE case management services for brain injury survivors right here in the Roanoke Valley. Did you know 1 in 30 Virginians has a disability from a brain injury? Events like this help turn tragedy into hope. 💚
