Wow, it’s hard to believe that May is already coming to an end. Feels like it just started! Hope everyone had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. We managed to get one good day of weather out of it at least… the rest definitely felt more like Michigan doing Michigan things. 😄

This is definitely not a sponsored post, but over the past few years I’ve had the privilege of attending and photographing several events at Revel Run near Dexter, and along the way I’ve captured quite a few great photos (day and night) of this beautiful property.

I’ve also stopped by the Foxhole Bar at Revel Run a handful of times, and if you’ve never been, it’s a totally different experience from the standard bar scene. The open-air setup overlooks the scenic property, and there are usually yard games, live music, or other fun activities going on. Add in great drinks and friendly service, and it’s just an awesome place to relax for a while.

If you’re looking to try somewhere new and unique to unwind and have a couple drinks, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. You might even see a horse or two roaming around.

A few days ago I shared some of the leftover winter photos I captured earlier this year. Today, it’s time for the leftovers from the early spring rainy season here in Southeast Michigan.

Gray skies, wet roads, and plenty of puddles made for some beautiful moody scenes. Hope everyone manages to stay dry out there today!

I still had a number of winter photos from earlier this year that I had never shared, so I figured I’d gather them all together here in one post.

A final “goodbye” to winter, the snow-covered streets, frosty mornings, and those quiet cold-weather scenes before we fully settle into summer. Looking back through these images almost makes me miss the snow… almost.

What a night for Saline Girls Lacrosse!

The Varsity Hornets capped off an incredible season by dominating Huron 15-1 to claim the SEC Championship title! From the opening draw, Saline controlled the pace and never looked back. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding accomplishment.

One of the coolest moments of the night came during halftime when the Saline middle school girls lacrosse team took the field for a scrimmage in front of the crowd. It was awesome seeing the next generation of Hornets out there having fun and showing off their skills under the lights. The future of Saline lacrosse is looking very bright! 💙💛

The Curtiss-Davenport House was looking especially vibrant and spring-like earlier this week, so I had to stop and capture a few photos before those deep purple leaves disappear. They pair perfectly with the colorful accents of this beautiful downtown landmark.
