Although Modena still has a handful of residents, this old hotel and the nearby general store sit abandoned. The Lund family ran the place until the 1950s, when the town began to fade and the property couldn’t be kept up any longer🏚️

Urban legend says this cellar belonged to a house Bundy once lived in up Emigration Canyon. The left photo is how it looked before it was sealed shut. The right one is mine from 8 years ago — I didn’t notice anything in the doorway until I looked back later. Most people I’ve shown it to say they see a figure in the dark opening.
