Peace ✌️🍀

First state park of the year, Crystal Cove. Taking the bus or Metrolink and monorail can be time consuming and exhausting, but the destination is always so worth it.

I really want to go to the mountains and even Joshua Tree this year. I love nature and all stuff like that so much. But I’d like arrange a group trip of some kind for that so we can carpool since buses and trains don’t go that far. Let’s see what happens.

As I was working in front of Liberty Bell Terrace and Pirate of the Caribbean last weekend, one of my manager’s presented this guest note to me. This actually made my day because it was a rough day with wind and my allergies.

I normally don’t share this sort of content on social media for one reason or another, but I’m actually proud of my achievements and hard work and want to share it.

I’ve receive plentiful recognitions, but this is my second written one. My big manager hand writes each of us personalized notes on these recognition cards too.

The Walt Disney Company

Since I was in Glendale for a cast member event expo for our triathlon, I decided to visit our studio lot. I almost cried because this is where I would love to work someday or even the motion picture studio, in some capacity. I’d say one of the cool things I geeked out on, a sound stage having flashing red lights, they were cooking something.

From the archives: Chinese New Year 2011

In honor of Chinese New Year 2026, I would like to go down memory lane.

We all start somewhere. One of my first jobs while in community college was at Sacramento City College Cultural Awareness Center. While there, I worked at the front desk answering phones, but also worked on advertising content for our events, setting up, documenting and photographing events. During this time, I was still learning my style and developing my skill set, so while the photos you see here are not the best quality, it serves to remind me where I started and how far I’ve come.

Community, Culture, Diversity and Inclusion has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I haven’t change that about myself in any way, shape or from over the years, no matter what the world has thrown at or demanded from me.

I guarantee, if I had this exact job today, I would be a social media content creator for them. Given I was already doing content creation before social media existed.

From the archives: 2006

I believe millennials are sharing photos from 2006. Here’s one close to my 16th birthday. From the looks of it, this looks like the backstage area of Pleasant Grove High School Blackbox Theatre. I believe we were organizing and setting up the space because we were in our first year of opening, but I don’t remember the exact details.

I lost a lot of photos from this time period, otherwise I would share more.

A few snaps from 2016

I couldn’t find very many photos from this year. But looking back at the time, I’m glad I got to spend a lot of time with my grandmother before leaving for San Diego on ‘17 and onward before her passing in ‘24. I truly miss my pup, Scooby-Doo, so much, he passed on in 2016, he’s the tanish fur baby. I used to cuddle with him all the time when I was feeling sad.

I always had a thing for henna and tattoos, winter, snow (even fake snow), and Christmas.

Disney’s California Adventure

What better way to start the new year than at The Happiest Place on Earth. I had a good weekend at DCA. This year is off to a good start. I cannot wait for what’s in store for me.

A little backstory, I was originally supposed to go to San Diego for the Brew Fest at Liberty Station. I attended that event many years ago. Unfortunately, the train route to S.D. is closed all weekend (01/10-01/11) for track work. I suppose that’s the universes way of stopping me from encountering a potential problem. There are many other festivals and events throughout the year, I’m so pumped.

‘25 Foodie Recap

From homemade to festivals to food halls, I love trying different foods and drinks. I vote caviar with mozzarella sticks as the best original appetizer I had this year.

I used to run a insta page dedicated to food. I think I called it World Class Food, I had the idea to travel and try different foods from around the country and world. I stopped posting on that page because I got busy with life.
