My 2nd annual school photo event, exclusively for homeschooled kids, is coming up Thursday and Friday, September 10th and 11th. 🎈

These school photos are different than what you're used to - instead of forced smiles and tacky backgrounds, boutique school photos are fun, capturing children's true expressions and personality (see the photos below to see what I mean).

Moms, have you thought about having professional hair & makeup done for your family photos?

I include it in every session, for several reasons:

-it’s an integral part of the premium photography experience I provide (along with your in-home styling consultation and artwork design and printing). It’s an experience to be enjoyed, letting me handle all the details.

-You are usually the one behind the camera, not in front. When you show up in front of the camera, fully present with your family, those images will hang on your wall and last for decades. "The only thing I'm really nervous about is that I'm awful at posing. I'm really stiff and it ends up looking awkward."

Samantha is a graduating senior at PLNU, and this is what she told me during our pre-session discovery call when we were planning her graduation photos.

I reassured her that we won't be posing, just running and playing and talking and acting a little silly.

And boy, did she ever kill it! You'd never know from these photos that she was afraid of looking awkward and stiff.
