And she did exactly that!

There is something so powerful about deciding that you deserve to be celebrated, too. Not because you’ve reached some milestone or become a different version of yourself, but because you are already here. You’ve lived. You’ve grown. You’ve survived. You’ve become.

From the hula and the laughter to the finished album she gets to hold in her hands, this session was a celebration of HER. 🤍

Before I became a bo***ir photographer, I was a wedding photographer. Brides asked me all the time if I offered bo***ir sessions, and honestly, I always hesitated. I never wanted women to feel like they were doing this just as a gift for someone else.

Now I see it completely differently.

Yes, your partner will love the photos (duh!). But that’s not why I think you should do a bridal bo***ir session.

Wedding planning has a way of making everything about the timeline, the dress, the flowers, and everyone else’s expectations. Bridal bo***ir is one of the few moments that’s just for you. It’s a chance to pause before your wedding day and celebrate the woman you have become before you step into this next chapter.

One day you’ll look back at these images and remember so much more than how you looked. You’ll remember how excited you were. How confident you felt. How much you had grown. How this was the beginning of a whole new season of your life.

The album you gift your fiancé is just the cherry on top. The real gift is documenting you, exactly as you are, before you say, “I do”. 🤍

my favorite part of the studio 🤍

A few years ago, I started an Empowerment Wall in my studio. It now lives in the bathroom, where you can take a quiet moment to read through the notes left by the incredible women who came before you.

At the end of every session, each client is invited to leave a note for the next woman who walks through these doors.

Some write about finally seeing themselves with kindness. Some share what they overcame to get here. Some leave quotes, affirmations, advice, or reminders that make you smile. Some simply remind the next woman that she is enough.

Every note is proof that you’re never alone. And every woman who adds to this wall leaves a little piece of herself behind for someone else who might need it.

For the woman who has survived hard things. For the version of herself that kept going. For the strength she forgets she carries. For the beauty that has always been there.

This session became a love letter to herself. One she can come back to whenever she needs the reminder.

And that final moment… watching her open her album for the very first time.

That’s why I do this.

Because confidence fades. Memories blur. But holding these photographs in your hands years from now? That feeling stays.
