A little photo dump of my weekend in LA.

I haven’t done a lot of traveling like I used to but this being the first trip of the year and hoping it means for many more to come.

2021 was a year of a lot of work and hustle and this year I see it going the same. Working towards my goals.

Today I’m starting a new part time gig as a content creator for a local non-profit while continuing to work and grow my digital marketing and photography agency with my clients. It’s been a lot to get to this point but I am so grateful for the journey.

It’s an exciting year that I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays out ☺️

Also, this was a foodie trip so if you want to see where I went and what I ate, check out my food page

Finally went to see the cherry blossoms in Portland!

I’m a Portland native and never went to see the cherry blossoms in the spring. Disappointing, I know but this year I decided to change that.

I got up before sunrise to catch the morning light and I was not disappointed. Other people were there getting photos too but nothing like the crowds you see in the afternoon.

Why are there cherry blossoms in Portland? Aren’t they from Japan? Yes, you are correct.

In 1990, 100 Akebono trees were donated by the Japanese Grain Importers Association. You’ll find these trees near the Japanese American Historical Plaza.

Every year, you can see the trees in full bloom from March to April.

Have you been??

Happy International Women’s Day!

I’m grateful to be connected to so many strong and beautiful women. My time in Portland has allowed me to meet so many women who are building empires and living life on their own terms.

These women inspire me to do more. To all the women out there, you’re killing it 💪🏼

There was so much good food to enjoy this year and so many new businesses that came out as well. When things weren't going our way, these places were there making dishes for us to enjoy and create a special moment where you could forget what was going on around the world, even for just a second. Here I want to highlight places that really stood out to me and were my favorite eats of 2020.

I was invited by Fogo de Chão to check out their outdoor dining and their vegan options and they did not disappoint! Their cauliflower steak was delicious and the fact that the salad bar comes to you instead was awesome!

Have you been on a helicopter before?
I’ve been lucky enough to go twice with Oregon Helicopters this year. They have the nicest pilots and have many different rides you can choose from. Like a tour of downtown Portland or ride from Troutdale to Portland.
It’s a great way to make memories with friends and loved ones and have some amazing views. Don’t you agree?
Thank you for the experience with and Can’t wait to have more!
Would you get on a helicopter?

Who else loves fall?
One thing I appreciate about Oregon is that you do get the 4 seasons, including fall.
The leaves turn into the most beautiful colors which makes any hike even more worthwhile ☺️ with everything going on, it was a nice escape to nature yesterday.
What do you enjoy most about fall? Do you like the colors too?
