I'm Jasmine, owner and lead photographer/storyteller serving the world from my home base in San Diego. I believe that people matter to each other, and something happens when they get connected. Something hopeful and tender and dazzling, like a million fireflies twinkling in the trees beside a silent river. But something comforting, too, like PB&J, or mac & cheese, or PB&J *on* mac & cheese (ew). T

here's magic in each of us. Not hocus-pocus, but optimism and hope and all the quirky things we do with our favorite people when the world isn't watching. I believe in connection and preserving the intangible links between people is what I am here for. Let's frolic together.

Another amazing Makers Arcade in the books, the spring fair was bananas fun last weekend! As both the official event photographer and a vendor myself, it is such a special treat, close to my heart, to capture all the magic and fun vibes! The visitors, the vendors, the customers, the bands, the cute kiddos and adorable dogs… just such absolute fun! Shout out to my fellow makers, y’all inspire me so much. The MA team got it out of the park (literally) and I can’t wait for the next fun fair—will I see you at the San Diego Made La Mesa Spring Market in a few weeks?

This lovely spark session with Gloria made for such a fun highlights edit. Truly, I love doing branding photography work because it’s such an enriching opportunity to actually get to know an individual and reveal authentic aspects of their world as I collaborate with them to tell their story. Gloria has such a grounded and connected energy, I’m confident that she must be a wonderful resource for her therapeutic clients. Can’t wait to share the full gallery soon!

This cutie quartet was such a fun group for exploring together. With a fascination with trees and an enthusiasm for photos, this was a day of textures and sunshine and soaring in the air and giggles. Such joy and wonder in seeing the world through these sweet lil' guys' eyes. Just the most joyful day of gratitude for lovelies like this.

Just a big dose of absolute adorableness for you today! This fun crew asked to focus on details both in the architecture and gardens in Balboa Park that are so different from where they live. So historic charms and desert and tropical garden nooks abounded for this delightful excursion with this super sweet family. So much joy!

Big energy and big fun were the name of the game for this fun round two of mini sessions, this time in Oceanside! So much playful silliness in North County, and a nice change of pace to do something a little more architectural. Grateful to these giggly adventurers for joining me!

The loveliest little fall minis this year is a charming historic meets rustic environment. I cannot fully express how much fun my cool clients and their kids were (both two-and-four-legged). Everyone brought amazing energy and it just makes me extra-excited for my round two minis next week in Oceanside, as of today, there's ONE slot left for any takers. Thanks, cuties!

I have such gratitude for getting to follow my couples through wedding bliss to family joy over the years, and it's a special privilege when visiting from afar! Such fun catching up with this crew and experiencing the newest iterations of these two charming businesses. I've been photographing Nutmeg Bakery and Cafe for years, and now witnessing the evolution of Nutmeg Boutique, it's super exciting to see how they've developed. I love the new spaces and basically want to buy everything in the shop. And I am a sucker for the incredible sandwiches at the cafe. It's time to drop highlights from this weekend! Ah, the absolute joy of capturing Makers Arcade, San Diego's largest craft fair/festival. I've been shooting it for over a decade and it has meant SO much to me to play a part in documenting this level of creativity and talent that never disappoints. This was the first time for a venue change in ages, so it's quite exciting to have experienced the signature San Diego vibes at Waterfront Park. Everyone brought truly fantastic energy and the partnership with The Crafter's Box and their creative workshops retreat just elevated the energy beautifully. Here's to all the amazingly talented vendors, the delicious food and drinks, the creative crafting collabs, the sponsors, the musical entertainment, the leadershp team, and all the guests that brought the fun!
