Isn’t it true that you can’t fully process chapters of your life until you’ve gone through them?

It’s great looking back on things with a fresh lens, but also I just wish I could hold onto the moments a wee bit longer.

Which is exactly why I’m taking my own advice and working so hard to make sure I schedule photos with my profession friends over the next few months. I’m processing being a mom of two while trying to live in this moment of being twins into the world. And I all I know to do is document document document 🥹

I’ve been a little bit internet shy the past few months because I’ve been cooking up…TWO BABIES!

This summer, we are adding twins to the family and my big girls couldn’t be more excited.
•
What does this mean for Alyx Jones Photography?!
In short: I’m on maternity leave this summer!
•
More deets: I will have a couple associates on my team available when I am not - as well as providing some mini session dates for me in the early fall.
•
I plan to be back in the heart of fall busy season (Black Friday deals: you get first dibs!) before hibernating with my babies again for the holidays.
•
I’ve run into some of you around the city or we’ve gotten to share the news in person at your spring session, and I’m so thankful for your support as we prepare for these babies!

Over the years, I found that some of my favorite clients don’t drive the same cars, work at the same companies, or shop at the same grocery store.

What I have found is that they have a lot of the same values: the types of adventures they take, their weekend activities, and how they interact with each other.
