I am so lucky to have the opportunity to shoot a portrait of my friend Wonju.

When I first came to the states, every summer I would be plagued with terrible skin problems, like once my lips swelled up so much I could see them in my peripheral. My face got so dry it cracked like a vase. Another horrible time, the skin on my hands started peeling off so much it looked like a mummy unraveling. During this time, Wonju was my friend. She has seen me turn into a monster and back again. I also set her up with her husband, John. 😀❤️ Thank you, Wonju.
