4 Sunsets at Bethel Woods
I’m so happy to share that I have begun a new job at the for the Arts! As part of the 2023 Teaching Artist cohort, I have co-taught an adult photography class and will be co-teaching an upcoming adult photo editing workshop (on Saturday, 6/10–register online at the Bethel Woods website!), and will also be teaching two weeks of their P.L.A.Y.
All-Day summer program for kids ages 5-6!
On our last adult photography class, one student observed that I was “6 for 6!” in capturing this view of the sunset from The Conservatory window. Well, maybe I had used my camera and not my iPhone for a week or two, but I could only find 4 on my camera roll. Nonetheless, pretty cool to see the progression of the this spring season, and the impact of on each sunset. Looking forward to more like this to come at !

I did NOT set out with the intention of creating a here, but when I was looking back and editing the photos I’d shot, it seemed like it MAYYYY just be possible to make it work. Had to load the files into a stack and let run its image alignment algorithm (and you can see in some frames, it didn’t work perfectly) since I shot these all …then switched the layers over into to be able to render the video. All things considered, I think it turned out OK…! At least, I think it captured the moment well enough for my satisfaction, if not a professional videographer’s 😆
