Video Synth

Video Synth VideoSynth is an interactive audio/video installation that uses you as the instrument of live art. The dynamic video portrait can be saved and emailed to users.

At one end of the installation is an automated touch screen video booth that elicits a series of responses from participants. The video recording appears at the mixing station console where participants can select their videos and play them back on a large screen while manipulating and synthesizing the sound, video, and background art in real time. Participants can also generate 4"x6" still photog

raphic prints on the fly by pressing a print button on the controller. The project is part video booth, part photo booth, part dynamic portrait machine, and part musical instrument.
