Waterfalls might just be one of my favorite naturally occurring things in nature. The sound of the rushing water and the unique path the water follows are mesmerizing.

The slight motion blur in the water makes this photo look like a painting and I am obsessed with it. I also love how rich and dynamic the colors of the water look, it all comes together to make one of my favorite photos.

Editing is a very important part of the creative process. The goal is to get the photo as close to 100% as we can in camera, and then fine tune in post production. Be careful though, there is absolutely such a thing as over editing and that can easily make or break a photo. In this instance I wanted to show more detail in the sky and emphasize the blue in the water. I then added a little bit of warmth into the shadows which I knew would add some contrast between the rocks and the ocean itself. Do you like the final image or do you think I should have done something different? Let me know down in the comments!

For the longest time I was always so hesitant to bring my camera with me on trips or even just everyday activities. I knew that I should be bringing it with me so that I could shoot more consistently, but I always found myself leaving it behind in fear of damaging it. Eventually I stopped even considering it all together, and that's when I realized I needed to change my mindset. A camera is just like any other tool, its purpose is to aid not to lead. I couldn't grow and improve as a photographer if I wasn't using my most important tool, but now I've made that change. My camera comes with me almost everywhere now and I've been loving it. Not only is it helping me improve as a photographer, but it's also helped me find more excitement in shooting for fun. Not everything is going to be paid work and rediscovering that desire to go shooting for myself has been wonderful. If you're a photographer who's hesitant to take your camera with you, I highly encourage you to do so, you won't regret it.

Some fun ch*****ne highlights from last year's grad season. These always end up being some of my favorite photos from a grad session. Whether the graduates have done it before or not, the initial pop of the ch*****ne never fails to shock them and the looks on their faces is unmatched!

If you or someone you know is graduating this year, and still needs a photographer, then I'm your guy! Send a DM and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

On March 28th, 2026, the third nationwide No Kings protest was held. While I have attended these rallies previously, this was my first time bringing my camera to document what these events are truly like. Handmade signs, call-and-response chants, and people of all generations and backgrounds coming together as one community — these photos from my local protest in downtown San Jose highlight the power of the people amidst these difficult times across the country and the world.

Street photography will definitely test your confidence as a photographer. I've been going on more photo walks recently and I am loving the challenge. As a portrait photographer I am used to having control over the scene and my subject, but you don't get that with street photography. It forces you to adapt and be able to anticipate how the environment will change. These are two pictures I got on a quick walk through out San Francisco last weekend and I'm quite pleased with how they turned out, despite my initial disappointment when I first uploaded them. Share your thoughts down in the comments!

I use these shortcuts constantly when I'm editing! They're so useful when it comes to speeding up my workflow or ensuring consistency across my photos.

I particularly love using the 'before & after' shortcut in conjunction with the 'light modes' shortcut. Having the ability see the progress of my edit in different lighting conditions is super helpful!

Give these a try during your next editing session, you won't regret it!
