Day 730. Two years of running every single day.
Rain. Snow. Freezing mornings. 100 degree afternoons. Stomach bugs. Fevers. Bad timing, late nights, early flights. The run still happened.
The streak has taken me to places I never would have seen otherwise. Being on foot changes how you see a city, a trail, a country. You notice things a car drives right past.
A few people made this possible:
Jesse Itzler , for inviting me to my first race Hell on The Hill Maine back in 2022 after Build Your Life Resume lit the fuse. That race is where I met one of my best friends, Brady Mcdonald | 50K • 50 States • 50 Days • Starting July 25 . We have shared a lot of miles since then, plus a lot of races and memories.
Seema Clothier , who I met through Brady. We ran our first 50K together and the New York City Marathon. Thank you for getting us those bibs. Kaleb East | Kingdom Driven Running , who got me started on this streak two years ago. We ran day one together. He is over 1,000 days into his own.
Biggest thanks to my family. Rachel, thank you for putting up with a run that does not always show up at a convenient time. And to my kids, thank you for sharing miles with me. You are the reason a lot of those runs got done.
730 down. Tomorrow is 731.
