Every now and then, adding a little movement reminds us what spaces are designed for in the first place.

I hadn’t planned on photographing this hotel lobby at this time of day—it was breakfast hour, with guests constantly coming and going. But I just LOVED the way the morning light streamed in from the patio and had to give it a try.

I think it was worth it. In fact, it might be one of my favorite images from this entire project. 😍

The warm light, the playful tile, and the subtle movement all work together to create a welcoming first impression for guests.
