It was beautiful to see the tradition of “jumping the broom.” This tradition is deeply rooted in black culture, and has been used in weddings since the days of slavery. What a meaningful addition to this ceremony!

Our day in a nutshell - the Great Jean Pascal Koch ()and I rolled up to this beauty of a seaside chapel on Anne Marie island. Moriah and Chinedu were looking ever so fabulous exchanging their vows in the presence of the Lord and their loved ones.

Then, after braving traffic from every direction we arrived at this little gem in downtown Bradenton where the reception was located. The was giving me all of the Winter-in-Florida vibes. It was amazing. On top of all of this, I got to finally work with which was a dream come true (Sarah, seriously we need to do that more often). Just when I thought things couldn’t get any cooler, the wedding party (and eventually all of the guests) started this Nigerian bridal dance that allows the guest to drop money into the bride's veil while forming a circle around her. Yes, they made is rain - twice.

Needless to say we had a blast. Congratulations, and ! @ Sarasota, Florida
