The absolute epitome of 2000s American engineering, the Saleen S7

In 2000, Saleen got tired of just simply tuning cars and sought out to build their very own supercar. The idea? Build a mid-engine supercar capable of competing against European supercars

The S7 featured iconic F1-inspired carbon bodywork, giving it a weight of just 2,865 Ibs. At the heart of the S7 was an all aliminum 7.0L V8 that produced 550 horsepower. The carbon bodywork paired with the V8 allowed the S7 to achieve a 200 MPH top speed. The car produced such significant downforce at 160+ MPH that it theoretically could be driven upside down!

Only 78 Saleen S7s were ever built, with only 22 of them being the naturally aspirated example

The infamous “Hot Rod” Miura

This 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 started its life as a Rosso Miura example, but that was soon to change. In 1978, the owner commissioned famous fabricator Arnold Zucchi to modify his newly acquired Miura. Zucchi would go on to widen the rear wheel arches, black out the trim, and install 15 inch BBS magnesium racing wheels. The Hot Rod Miura was then born.

This vehicle would then spend the next 45 years hidden in Northern California, before being acquired by in 2023

The holy grail of BMW, the 1959 BMW 507 Roadster Series II. The car was conceived on the idea of a cheaper competitor to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Only 252 units of the 507 ended up being produced as production cost far exceeded expectations.

The 507 featured a 150 horsepower 3.2-litre aluminium alloy V8, paired with Zenith carburetors. This combination allowed the 507 to reach a top speed of 127 and 0-62 in 11.1 seconds.

The 507s body was hand-sculpted, featuring breathtaking curvature, side vents, and kidney grilles. Due to production price, the car was deemed a failure when new. As the decades have rolled by, the 507 has become iconic with many features still b**g used on BMWs today!
