Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my booth over the weekend. I sold all but two of my charcoal drawings, and i couldn’t be happier! It was my first time ever vending somewhere and i had a blast. Everyone in the PTA is so welcoming and lovely to talk to.

Bigger projects usually require a more meticulous process. The grid method is one of my favorite time saving methods when it comes to larger pieces. I like to do my rough sketches on my ipad, as it helps me make changes quickly and saves a lot of paper!

What’s the grid method?
- In art, it divides a photo and paper into matching grids to map, copy, or resize images. This method allows me to transfer my digital sketch onto paper more accurately and in a timely manner. This means that your commission will better represent the sketch you approve than if i were to draw it completely free hand (again). It also means that you get your comission back quicker 😉

All six frames are ordered and on the way. Can’t wait to see all of them framed up!
