Life moves fast and everyone gets pulled in different directions, which is why I love when families take the time to slow down and enjoy being together.

This sweet family came from across the country and made the most of their visit by capturing this time with the people they love most. Between the laughs, the hugs, and all the little moments in between, it was such a fun evening to be a part of.

Watching these kiddos grow and getting to capture another season of their lives is such an honor. Add in one of the most beautiful sunsets we've had all summer, and it made for the dreamiest evening.

This is hands down my favorite time of the year, and I seriously can't wait to be back in the sunflower fields capturing all the golden summer magic.

I'll only be taking a small number of sunflower sessions this year. Since Mother Nature is in charge, sessions will most likely take place sometime in August, but the exact timing depends on when the flowers bloomā€”so a little flexibility is a must!

The weather is finally beautiful, and every year it reminds me how quickly these seasons of life pass.

The way your child reaches for your hand.
The way your toddler wraps their arms around your neck.
The laughter between siblings.
The look your partner gives you when no one else is paying attention.
