The Groom Squad

Knowing Chris since our teenage years makes seeing him step into this next chapter surreal in the best way possible. Watching him and his guys gear up ahead of the ceremony gave me a front-row seat to the kind of lifelong crew you just can’t fake.

Also, side note: shooting a wedding at a golf course for the very first time turned out to be an absolute dream—I’ve shot so many weddings over the years and somehow have never ended up at a golf corse.

So happy for you, Chris, and absolutely head-over-heels for Emily and the life you two are building. 🫶

Just popping in to remind y’all what I look like 🤓
I feel like I haven’t shared much about myself on here in a while, so here are a few things you should know about me:

I hate having my picture taken. I always have. Honestly, I think the only person I trust with a camera is my husband.

I have body issues like everyone else. My weight fluctuates constantly, and it’s been a lifelong struggle.

I avoid mirrors a lot of the time. I hate looking at myself, and I see so many things I wish I could fix or change. As I get older, I notice it on my face more than anyone else’s.

But here’s the thing: If I wouldn’t talk to my clients that way, why should I talk to myself that way? Because I truly find beauty in every single one of my clients.

I’m working on unlearning that, because 90% of my clients are anxious leading up to shoots- self-conscious about their weight, their hair, or just being on camera. I’m saying this because I really mean it when I say: I understand you.

When you step in front of my lens, take comfort in knowing I will do my absolute best to make you feel safe, comfortable, and confident. ❤️
