Needles highway in Custer State Park offers a ton of beauty. We drove through a few times and some parts more than others to get to other spots in the park. This is not a road to travel if you're looking to get someplace quickly. It's has beautiful views and lots of spots to pull over for photos.

Hiking along Sylvan Lake was wonderful! I love the reflections. Custer State Park is just an amazing Park all around. So much to see in one location! It was definitely a favorite of mine from this trip!

We enjoyed an early morning hike (everything we did was early morning, beat the heat and the crowds) on Cathedral Spires Trail.
There was a pretty good climb about a half mile in but it was worth it. There was a wonderful breeze once you got to the top and hiked.

We decided to head over into Wyoming while we were in South Dakota. We visited Devil's Tower. It was super hot, high 90's and smoke from the wildfires filled the sky.

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm sharing an image of Mount Rushmore. Places fill up fast so we made sure to get there early, I've heard early morning is the best light anyway. It was a very peaceful visit, we even got to see a few deer.

Last week we enjoyed a beautiful vacation in South Dakota. I was lucky enough to witness this beautiful sunrise over Badlands National Park.

Here are some photos from our recent hike at Seven Bridges - Grant Park in Milwaukee. This was my first visit in summer and I have to say, it's so much prettier in fall. That's just my opinion though.
