Splash zone activated!

One wild horse flops into the cool water like it’s the world’s best bathtub, rolling and kicking up sprays of pure joy. No fences. No rules. Just the soft splash of water, the warm breeze, and the wild hearts of horses who still know what it means to be free.

Out on the open range of Nevada, where the mountains roll like quiet waves, and the sky stretches forever, one dark mustang stood alone. No fences. No riders. Just the soft wind in the sage and the endless quiet of the high desert.

He was born of this land — wild, free, and unbroken. For a moment the clouds parted to light his silhouette, as if the West itself was pausing to look at one of its last true sons of the wind.

He didn’t run. He didn’t need to.

He was already home.

A quiet moment at Washoe Lake, Nevada.
Out in the Nevada desert, this mama wild horse stays close to her little foal. The baby sticks right by her side, learning the ways of the wild. Just the two of them against the open land.

❤️ Nature at its best.

🌊✨ Wild drama at Washoe Lake in Carson City, Nevada

I took this photograph with Marty of Wild Horses Carry Me Away — these two stallions were putting on quite the show! I still can’t decide… were they fighting or just playing rough? That powerful energy, flying manes, and dust kicking up under those Nevada skies is pure wild horse magic.

Nature never fails to amaze. 💫

What do you think — play or fight? Drop your guess below! 👇

🌾 June at Washoe Lake, Carson City, Nevada

This sweet mama is soooo pregnant; she looks like a giant pumpkin waddling through the sage! 😍 Her belly is full of new life, and she carries it with such calm, quiet strength beside her trusty companion in the golden high desert light.
These wild horses are part of our American heritage — living symbols of freedom and history that have roamed these lands for centuries. The BLM needs to leave them alone!

"Wild hearts, untamed spirits. 🔥

At Lake Washoe in Carson City, Nevada, these two stallions decided to put on a show I’ll never forget. The power, the dust, the raw energy… and yes — I was way too close! 😅 My heart was pounding as loud as their hooves hitting the ground.

Moments like this remind me why I chase wild horses across states. No posing, no direction — just pure, unfiltered nature doing its thing.

Who else feels the pull of these majestic animals?
