Some stories begin long before we ever get to meet them. 🤍
This session was such a beautiful reminder of why I love photography. Not just for the pretty pictures, but for the little moments tucked inside them, the hands resting on a growing belly, the quiet glances, the laughter, the anticipation, and the love that already exists for someone they haven’t even met yet.
This was such a beautiful season to document, and I’m so honored I got to freeze a tiny piece of it in time for them.
Before the tiny hands. Before the first hello. Before everything changes. 🤍

I have recently been asked if I photograph children… and YES, I absolutely do! 🤍

However, there are a couple of things I want to make very clear.

In my two years of being a photographer, I have made the personal decision that I will not and absolutely refuse to post children who are not my own on my social media or use their images for advertising without explicit permission from their parent/guardian.

I completely understand that some photographers regularly share their little clients online, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that when parents have given permission. But when it comes to the children I photograph, I want parents to know that their child’s privacy and safety will always come before my business or social media.

If you book a session with me, you can rest assured that I will never assume I have permission to post your child simply because you hired me. 🤍

Your family’s memories belong to YOU. I’m just honored to be trusted to capture them. 🥹📸

So yes!!! I photograph the giggles, the messy faces, the tiny personalities, the sibling chaos, the birthday smiles, and all the sweet little moments… I just don’t need to put those babies on the internet to prove that I can photograph them. 🫶🏻

Photography should be about so much more than just getting pretty pictures. 🤍

My goal is to create an experience where you leave my session feeling comfortable, seen, beautiful, confident, empowered, and proud.

I want you to feel like you can show up exactly as you are. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself in front of my camera.... not like you have to know how to pose, look a certain way, or somehow become a different version of yourself for the sake of a photo.

I want you to actually enjoy the experience. To laugh. To be silly. To feel confident. To have moments where you forget the camera is even there.

Because yes, I want you to LOVE your pictures.

But even more than that, I want you to love the way you felt while creating them.

That’s the kind of photographer I’m trying to be, and the kind of experience I want to give every person who trusts me with their memories. 🥹🤍

And I think this session with the absolutely gorgeous Cat H Marie is such a beautiful example of that. 😍
