I’ve been feeling a little social media paralysis lately.
There’s a tension between using my time to serve my clients well (aka editing, editing, editing), sharing my work here, and making sure that in sharing families, I’m also honoring and protecting their privacy.
So much of what I do is about connection.
The way a parent looks at their child.
The giggles that make them fall over.
The quiet expression of feeling safe, known, and loved.
And so much of that connection lives on a face.
I don’t know that there’s a perfect answer to the question of what should be shared and what should stay private. But I do know this:
I care deeply about you and your families, and I value your comfort, desires, and concerns far above my need to show the world how beautiful your images are.
In the questionnaire I send before your session, there’s a place for you to share your preferences and concerns around privacy and sharing. And you can always message me or reach out at any point if you’d like to request privacy.
It is truly an honor to step into each of your lives in such a small way to help remember the season of life you are journeying through.
