When you’re taking pictures at a bday party and they’ve got a framed picture you took of them on a table. I didn’t even notice until I got these uploaded to the PC. I love Miss Kinslee, I remember babysitting her before I was pregnant with my first kid. Way to make me feel OLD. PS the gift opening is giving infomercial vibes and I love it.

I heard trees can explode in the cold. I didn’t find that, but I thought these were pretty.
Okay so 1:
what kind of animal do you think left those tracks?
2: cactus and pokey plants don’t care if you can’t see them, they will mess you up
3: I’ve been watching way too much and these trees were giving off the parasitic vines from the upside down vibes.
4: isn’t that last picture cool?

I’ve always been obsessed with taking pictures of things I saw that were interesting so I could go back and learn about them later. Why do trees stop growing at a certain point? In pic #2 almost all the trees stop growing near the power lines. Today I learned it’s because of hydraulic limitation. Do ducks get cold? Not technically, and they don’t even get wet, believe it or not. I froze and was shaking in my two minutes outside taking winter wonderland pictures but you see some folks here sledding down the hill and my kids being angels in the snow. I hope everyone’s staying warm and safe, let me know if you need a hot meal or something.

When a purple BMW parks next to your purple charger you gotta run home to grab your camera and snap a few. Tried a different editing for with these, was going for an over saturated/neon lights vibe.

My favorite thing they do at weddings now is have the family come up and pray for the couple. There’s several factors that go into controlling the amount of light and sensitivity to light that your camera picks up. When I tell you that my sensors were going crazy and everything seemed so “bright” through the display, but not to my naked eye. I could feel the presence, but in that moment it was amazing to see the holy spirit truly be tangible in a measurable sense.
Thanks dad for letting me help out on this one. AdamJr N Angela Sosa

Taking edit notes while working! Photographed a wedding yesterday. Edited for 3 hours last night and 1.5 today. Pixels lie on the computer screen so I always upload and check them out on my phone. And then re-edit when necessary. On the subject, I had someone message me asking if I could edit their pictures done by another photographer. Not only is this illegal copyright infringement, but not something I’d ever feel comfortable doing. Do your research when hiring a photographer. Ask important questions, it’s YOUR MONEY! Do they have lights? Do they have editing software? Does their previous work look clear and clean? Are they going to take the time to make things look right instead of rushing to upload and get paid? Happy Sunday everyone! Opening up availability for Valentine’s Day minis soon!

I know I’ve already posted these but I’ve gotta shine a special spotlight on them since these are the ones I chose to be featured in a magazine for my own ad!
The first picture is from the car show in may. The first time I held a camera, at all. Stepped out of my comfort zone to ask a random family walking by if I could take their sons picture. He was dressed so perfectly for this truck and you would’ve thought it was a planned shoot! The second is a classmate that reached out to me for her birthday pictures after seeing a handful of things I posted on instagram. The last is from a shoot I pursued after seeing someone post about graduation/ birthday pictures. I saw several other photographers get suggested, those with far more clientele and exposure than I had at the time. Once again, stepped out of my comfort zone and offered my services, showing my portfolio and letting them know I had access to a premium studio, lighting, and the knowledge/ software to handle things they had concerns about. Serious tan lines, straps and things sticking out strangely, I got it done! 7 months into this venture and being asked to do ad shoots of businesses here in Snyder and earning a half page ad for my own photography is such a blessing and wonder to me! I look at these and think how much I’ve learned since then, how much I’ll continue to learn and perfect my craft. Shoutout to everyone who has allowed me to capture precious moments of their family, friends, businesses, and life. I am eternally grateful!! And of course, thanks dad for blessing me with a camera and showing me the ropes.
