The portraits of their day are beautiful, and they have their place….But it’s the unplanned moments that I love the most.
The laughter that catches everyone off guard. The quiet glance between a bride and groom. A dad twirling his little girl on the dance floor. A proud mama watching with joy in her eyes. Friends celebrating with their whole hearts. The excitement of walking hand in hand into a brand-new chapter together.
They are the little pieces of the day that often become the memories you’ll hold onto the longest.
As a photographer, those are the moments I’m always watching for. They’re genuine, full of emotion, and they tell the story of your day in a way that posed photographs never could.
Years from now, I hope your whole album of images don’t just remind you of what your wedding looked like……they take you back to how it felt!!!!
To me, that’s the heart of being asked to capture someone’s biggest day……is preserving the moments that become part of their story!!!!
