Hello everyone! Happy 2026!!

Thanks for being here!

I've had a wonderful 2025 with you -- I worked with:
9 Senior Sessions
6 Family Sessions
7 Headshot Sessions
10 School Portrait Sessions
1 High School Yearbook Session
1 Engagement Session
1 Wedding (but I don't do weddings - this was for a friend)

I am looking forward to see what we can create together in 2026.

I will be limiting the amount of senior and family sessions I do this year, so if you are interested please make sure to reach out early.

In 2026, I plan to only take 4 Senior Sessions and 4 Family Sessions plus Headshot, School Portrait, Engagement and High School Yearbook Sessions as my time allows.

😍Congratulations to Ellie! She will be a homeschool graduate this spring.

❤Ellie has had a full high school career with volleyball, youth group and her big family. She likes to read, watch movies, work and hang with friends.

👩‍🍳During her senior year in high school, she is also attending a culinary school to help her prep for a future in culinary arts.

🥳This session was so much fun! And the family's property was a perfect choice.

📷In a 30-minute family session, we can get a variety of family poses, sibling poses, individual portraits of your kids and of course mom/dad!

📆If you haven't updated your family photos since 2020 or before, then it's time! Of course, I recommend updating every 12-18 months!

I'm considering offering 9-square cardboard box photo sessions in November. These are so fun and would make a great Christmas card! Comment below or DM if you would be interested. These would likely be 30-minute sessions at my home in the South Lyon area. I'm figuring out the details like cost and dates.

Class of 2026 is graduating some stellar humans.

Meet Meisha -- a home educated student who is headed to Wheaton College after graduation! She plans to study neuropsychology & nursing.

Meisha has spent much of her high school years being involved in her local church, her local homeschool coop and her local homeschool orchestra.

Her enthusiasm and love of others shines thru with the biggest smile.

❓Have you heard how much I enjoy taking School Pictures? These are my absolute favorites. Hands-down. Some call them Personality Photo Sessions but I'll stick to good old-fashioned School Pics.

😎For me -- it will always be the non-smile. The smirk, the serious, the shy looks.

😁But then again, a full-on natural smile is truly the best. As a mom, I do want those smiles but I also love the personality that you see behind the smirk.

📷I have taken this young man's photo for several years now and I love it. His freckles are the best! I love capturing freckles.

🚗Even though this family has moved out of state, I am so glad that we were able to work in a time for this while they were in Michigan this summer.

💥Have a great 5th grade, kid! Tell your sister I missed her but I'm hoping she is crushing her senior year!!

🪻But Isabella requested a senior headshot for her yearbook to be done on location. Great choice!

😍Beautiful girl for her high school yearbook. It's always fun to see which image the senior picks vs the image I would pick.

🥳Perhaps the smirk is even better than the smile/no smile. I really do have the best job.
