Doing a location scout is not only helpful to everyone on your crew, it’s most crucial to get client’s absolute green light on approach and ex*****on.

When you’re given only 20m to produce a series of portraits, I required a location scout to mark areas where exactly we’d shoot.

When you’re press for time, mark your locations literally with gaff tape so talent knows where to be.

Clients usually have an idea of where they want to shoot so always good to hear and see their ideas.

Do yourself a favor and download apps like Sun Seeker or Sun Surveyor to know where sun will be.

🌅 Knowing where the sun would be, making this shot and giving variety on color and mood was possible.

Big shoutout to Kristen for putting my hat in their ring when eBay was planning on producing this shoot. 🫰
