✨ Isabella’s Quinceañera ✨
What a magical weekend. ❤️
Our family traveled from South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, and even Cerralvo, Nuevo León, to celebrate our baby girl. Having so many people we love together in one place made the weekend even more special.
The day went by way too fast, but it was absolutely beautiful. We danced, we laughed, we cried, and we made memories I know I’ll hold onto forever. 🥹❤️
As a photographer, I wanted SO badly to bring my gear and capture every little moment myself. But I made myself a promise that this time, I was going to put the camera down and simply be Mom. I wanted to be present, enjoy my baby girl, dance with her, laugh with her, get emotional with her, and take it all in. And I’m so glad I did. ❤️
Of course, I couldn’t completely give up my photographer duties. 😂 A few weeks before her quinceañera, I photographed her portrait session. Little did we know we had picked the beginning of the Canadian wildfire smoke rolling into Michigan. It was hot, hazy, cloudy, and definitely not the weather I had pictured for her session… but we made it happen.
And looking at these photos now, I wouldn’t change a thing.
My beautiful Isabella. Fifteen years went by much too quickly. Watching you celebrate this milestone surrounded by so much love was something I’ll never forget.
