A few months ago, I just happened to look out the window and the sky had a very pink color to it. It was very quick and disappeared within minutes and at that time I didn't have my camera ready. However, this time with the image below, I was at Middle Pond of Congamond Lakes, shooting long exposures, and shortly after a quick thunderstorm, near sunset and golden hour, the color of the sky became a soft golden light. One of the unique features of golden hour is its warmth sunlight that travels through more of the atmosphere at a low angle, absorbing blue light and letting golden, orange, and red hughes pass through it.

The Whalley Park Free Concert Series concluded last night with the featured band Whiskey Traveler. A fun night last night with a little twist, as 85% of the people were into LINE DANCING. There were even free line dancing lessons given before the band began by Stomping Boots. A great night to end the Concert Series let's take a peek.

It was a rockin' good time last night at the Whalley Park Free Concert Series featuring Jeff Pitchell along with his band and audience participation was in full swing and lots of fun. Everybody was up on the dance floor and Jeff gave us a night to remember. If you ever get a chance to see Jeff do not hesitate. Here is a look.

It was another great night for the Whalley Park Concert Series featuring the Band 91 South. All night long 91 South provided nothing but great music, well-known songs and even a guest keyboard player. All in all, it was a perfect night to sit and relax, or just get up and boogie with the rest of Southwick and surrounding towns. Let's take a peek.

It was a wet, rainy day, Wednesday that kept the majority of people from attending the Whalley Park Free Concert Series. It was a slow start, however, as the night went on, more people did show up. The featured band this night was Locomotion. This was a band that got the majority of people that attended up on the dance floor. Let's take a look.
