A beautiful, private estate backyard wedding with the most lovely intimate dinner and reception at Ascend Steakhouse in Bellevue. The whole morning it poured, but the sky cleared perfectly for S&S all day long, ending with radiant golden hour clouds and a rainbow 🌈

Almost two years ago, I got a message from a then stranger on Facebook about photographing her wedding in Portugal. 🇵🇹

Getting to know these two over that time, has felt so easy.
I think it’s a really clear sign that this is a really loved couple, when about 100 friends and family flew from so many different corners of the world to watch them say yes.
Meeting their different chapters has given me a preview even more into the amazing people Serena and Christian are, and I’m so happy I got to be here to witness this beautiful day and spend the week with them.

The details of this day were so beautiful and intentional. From family keepsakes to designer details, it felt like the perfect mix of everything. I have sooooo so much to share from this week! But here’s a small preview for now 🥹

Discovery park in Seattle, we all know her and love her. I feel like every time I’m here, I’m creating something different and unique despite the landscape remaining the same. So much room for creativity and to run around 🥹

Hannah + Nicholas, married at The Glass House on Monroe 🤍

I’ll be honest, I was nervous all week watching the wildfire smoke forecasts and air quality index, and then the morning of, the sky just… cleared. Blue skies, 200 of their favorite people, homing pigeons for the grand entrance, and vintage china that made every table feel like a family heirloom. (Shoutout to the glasshouse for having such cute decor and Hannah’s impeccable taste!!)

We laughed, we cried, we chewed on Polly Pockets (iykyk), and danced until nobody wanted the night to end. I had so much fun celebrating and photographing this day. Hannah and Nick are like sunshine embodied!
