These are seriously just pawfect. 🐾

She’s loyalty in purest form,
A gentle soul, forever warm.

She’ll guard your sleep through darkest night,
And greet your tears with eyes of light.
No judgement comes, no need to hid —
Just love, with you , right by your side.

No crown nor coin can ever buy
The way she watches, deep and shy,
A furry heart, without disguise —
A friend, a world, in golden eyes. 💛

I love coming across old run down buildings lost to nature .
Something so eerily beautiful about it .
I ponder all the people who seen it in its glory , the stories each one holds . 🌳

The Pileated woodpecker , the largest forest woodpecker in North America .

Their appearance heavily inspired the well known cartoon character “Woody Woodpecker”

Rather than singing like songbirds, they loudly drum their beaks against hollow trees to mark territory and attract mates. This drumming can be heard up to half a mile away.

I played peek a boo with this guy for about an hour before finally catching him . 🥰🪶
