I love capturing emotion in a photograph. It just so happens that these have a LOT of emotion. Its beautiful, but also sad. We've all been there, and im so so proud of this strong woman for opting to share a bit of herself with all of you 🖤

A word from the model-

**~~trigger warning; mental health!~~**

Ive had general anxiety disorder and panic attacks for a long time. the drugs are great. i feel so much better than i did 20 years ago. it’s not always perfect. sometimes i have difficult days. sometimes i have difficult weeks. i do have a lot of tricks that can make things ease off…but sometimes that doesn’t work either. i recently had a couple weeks where i could barely function. saw my doctors, checked the things, adjusted the meds, took some time away from work. im so much better than i was a week ago. i know this is a lifelong partner for me. something i have to cope with and adjust to and attempt to find some kinda symbiotic relationship. my lovely friend Kimberley Rae Lowrie helped me try to incorporate my anxiety and panic, fear and anger, loss and sorrow into some beautiful images. i love these. some are sad, some are angry, some are trapped and alone and broken. and some are just creepy…the pasted on emotions or fake smiles to just get through your day without letting on how you’re hurting inside. i think we did a good job of making visual some of the mental health trauma that is sometimes not even below the surface. thank you for looking; i’d be curious if any of this resonated with anyone else. it was mainly an attempt to help me heal, but maybe it could mean something to someone else. and if you’re struggling with anything…you are never ever alone. i’ll be here with you if you need. much love 💜🖤
